We grew up here.
Founders Andrew and Becky Korge grew up in South Florida. They both knew every corner of this city before they could drive.
In 2016, the first SoFLA listing was Andy and Becky's guest house in South Miami, rented to a family from Toronto who said they wanted to see "the real Miami." Andrew met them at the airport and gave them a list of their favorite restaurants, the beaches they loved to frequent, and their favorite local experiences. They sent a thank-you card.
That card is still in a drawer at the office. It's how we set the bar.
Ten years in, and still growing.
We've added a few stays a year. Our client and guest satisfaction rate is the backbone to our growth.

One house, one couple
Andy and Becky list their guest house in Miami. They write the description themselves. The first booking comes from Toronto.
- 2017
The SoFLA name is debuted
SoFLA Vacations is officially open for business with the addition of properties in Coconut Grove, Hallandale Beach and the Florida Keys.
- 2022
The historic Sunset Inn
The Sunset Inn is remodeled and fully operational again, winning "Best Bed & Breakfast" by the Miami Herald.
- 2024
The New Yorker Miami Hotel
The historic 40-room hotel in the MiMo District is added to our portfolio of stays and wins "Best Boutique Hotel" two years in a row.

The team grows
The SoFLA Vacations team grew to bring even greater attention to marketing, customer service, and day-to-day operations.

Becky oversees day-to-day operations, supports the team, and makes sure every property and guest experience lives up to the SoFLA standard.
Kevin runs the day-to-day: the properties, the booking engine, the promos. If you booked direct, Kevin's systems made it work.
Naty keeps guests taken care of from booking to checkout.
Ilsy leads the housekeeping team and helps ensure every SoFLA Vacations property feels fresh, comfortable, and ready for arrival.
KC brings the SoFLA Vacations story to life through the website, social media, emails, and local travel guides.
